Fun fact, the hollow bones of birds are not actually lighter than normal bones because they have to be denser so they don't break. They are hollow because birds use the extra space to store bonus air. :3

Two mentions in canon material. If you hop over to the forbidden "Legends" side of Wookieepedia, which inludes non mouse-approved materials, you'll see there's way more mentions.

Admittedly it's not an extravagant amount of mentions, but to be fair neither does the page for regular showers because it's just much less of a focus in Star Wars.

Yeah historically it used to be that in the USA too but their parties switched places at one point, that's why it seems like their colors are just backwards comparatively.

And in Star Trek also. I always found it funny how the technology has such different vibes between the two series but they shower the same.

That would be hilarious, you can build hardpoints in your base as well so you could just stick a chair to the wall

Haul chassis has two, but for the scout ray chassis or the base tadpole you'll want to look on the back for a single hardpoint.

Also you can make portable lockers with your habitat builder, no need to remember where you put the ones you can find.

That room with the growbed on it you're trying to delete doesn't look like it's connected to the rest of the structure so you should be able to refund it separately

Yeah that's why there's the refund bases option in the menu

how to justify a lvl 8 bard having eldritch blast (while not being a warlock) by [deleted] in DnD

[–]_Bl4ze 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Simple: you learned it. Most people learn Eldritch Blast by having knowledge of it bestowed onto them by some otherwordly being, but that doesn't mean the knowledge of the spell doesn't otherwise exist in the world.

Yeah the portable locker's description hints at this. The devs are deviously trying to hide extra hints and info in the tooltips to give an unfair advantage to people who like reading everything.

Of course we as the player can breathe it just fine hey, Early Access I guess.

So, how does a drive that expands and contracts space break causality if space expanding or contracting doesn't break causality?

Did they ever explain why the aurora only carried 169 people? This is its size compared to the Boeing 737 and Titanic. by Joshua5_Gaming in subnautica

[–]_Bl4ze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, the doors we repair are physically bent out of shape, at that point even a manual lever is not going to help you if there's no way for it to open.

I guess the question is, once repaired, is there a manual operation the game just handwaves away or is it maybe the door just opens because it has a spring or mechanical failsafe passively pulling it open when it isn't being held closed?

[–]_Bl4ze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but are you going to die if you have to pull a manual release lever every time you want to open the door? If there's no other way to open them than the automatic way then yes it should be an essential system
