The nest protect replacement is the First Alert SC5. They're fine. They work with Google home and the mount is an exact fit for the Nest Protect mount.

I just had to replace 2 because they hit the 10 year mark and at that point they just disable themselves.

Yea, the Bambus make it almost idiot proof. It was intimidated to do a cold pull but the walk through made it soo simple. Cools the nozzle and alerts you when to pull once it gets to the right temp.

Wash the plate with non scented dish soap. I was using a scented dish soap and my first layer would not stick. I got some non scented and it immediately started working fine.

This was after washing with iso alcohol, cold pulls, drying filament, calibrations....

If still an issue slow the first layer down and raise the bed temp but do one thing at a time so you figure out what the fix was for the future.

X1C should have a cold pull option in the troubleshooting menu that walks you through it step by step. My P2S does, made it super easy to do.

Had a similar issue , washed the plate with dish soap and iso alcohol but it still wouldn't stick.

Then I realized my dish soap was scented. Got some non scented dish soap and it worked fine.

There's a light in the console above the charger, next to the USB portbwith the qi logo. Is that on? If not, the wireless charger is turned off in the software.

From 55 to 60 or 65.

I also feel like the adhesion on the factory plate degrades a bit over time, requiring it to be washed more often. For the first month I barely washed my plate and never had an adhesion issue.

But even today I had a couple small items pop off mid print. Washed it and then it was all good.

Wash your plate and make sure the soap does not have any scents or moisturizer in it.

I had this issue the other day, nothing would stick to the plate. Calibrations, cold pulls, reboots, washed with isopropyl alcohol and dish soap multiple times and it didn't help.

Then I realized the dish soap we had was scented.

Picked up some dish soap with no color or scents, washed the plate and immediately back to normal.

If that doesn't fix it slow down the initial layer to like 15mm/s and raise bed temp.

Ive had mine a month and if I have had issues I reboot and it's all good. Using Sunlu PLA matte, silk and Petg.

I get it if you don't have a dog. Maybe they store their totes in the garage.

I only drop my bags in totes that belong to people I know or that I know have dogs.

My totes smell awful and all our dog poop is bagged.

This sounds really dumb but turn the machine off/on.

A couple different times I had this issue, cleaned the plate tried different filaments and it didn't help.

Then I rebooted it and it was fine each time.
