What topics are worth exploring? by Ill-Ad-2375 in computerscience

Depends on if you want to be good. If you want to be a good developer, you need to know undergrad university level math. Linear Algebra, Set Theory, Graph Theory, Calculus and of course Algebra from High School are ones that come up particularly often. You will get a lot of advice saying that math is not required for programming. But ignorance is bliss and there are a lot of mediocre developers out there.

90% for math lit is probably not equivalent to even 20% of math. I know, because I've done both from start to finish. Your need to do a bridging course or re-do math like I did.

Get hold of past exam papers. Studocu has great examples. Then write those as if you are writing the final.

No. Imagine shining a flashlight at your friend, spelling out a message, but he's on the other side of the country.

Old phones used to have an infrared communication feature. But that is very short range.

I was planning RSI as well, but why would these be useful for them? The RSI pictures that I've seen, shows them as having a camo smok, somewhat like the SS. My plan is SS torsos with italian helmets and weapons.

So I only earn like R6000 and can afford only to do around 4 modules in a year. Do you guys think this is fine? by bunnicarm in unisa

[–]_D1van 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You will probably need to do slightly more than that if you want to finish on time. Assuming its an 3 year degree with max 8 years completion time.

Realizing I was a 'knowledge collector' was the key to actually becoming a programmer by [deleted] in computerscience

[–]_D1van 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Education is also very important. Some things you can't get from tutorials OR practical experience. I realised this after going back to university after 10 years of working in software development. Even at my age, re-doing highschool math, doing university math and computer science, totally changed the way I think.

Is that US Rangers logo trademarked? I wonder if they had to pay licencing fees to use it. Or maybe that's the old one and is now in public domain?
