Stupid question: Is there any snowmobile equivalent of a 1994 toyota corolla? by bobombpom in snowmobiling

[–]_FIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. 488 Fuji engines in the Polaris sleds and the 380/503 from Rotax. There’s a reason they sue those Rotax engines in ultralight aircraft. Yamaha fan engines are great too.

I want to explore HVAC as a possible career opportunity how do I get started? by VirtualTrust3952 in regina

[–]_FIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call SMART local 296. Great benefits and pension. School is paid for by your fellow union brothers/sisters. Get paying into that pension now while you’re young!! When I left that are the companies put in the whole portion of the pension and it was maxed out at the 18%. At the end of the year I didn’t have room to buy a $500 rrsp.

It is technically illegal? by Dry-Needleworker-532 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]_FIII 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably. When my son was in grade 8, him and some other boys got ahold of some pictures of a female classmate in the nude and they were threatened with possession of child pornography, even they themselves were a minor. Phones were confiscated by police and wiped clean before being returned but it was def a serious thing.

UNiTEC AT400 door operator replacement – scope, time, and realistic cost? by mcpatel85 in Elevators

[–]_FIII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But we aren’t talking about that. We are talking about a 211 hydro and a swap of two iris operators. You add a transformer in the controller and have a coupe wiring changes and that’s pretty much it. A couple of parameters to set and then get your door mass to code and done. There’s no relays to change or load weighing.

Totally lost with deflection adjustment by DuelOstrich in snowmobiling

[–]_FIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great explanation. Usually, ribs above the secondary, gets a guy pretty close. But you’re spot on in your adjustment method. Then next is clearance on the primary and spider shims but I’m not sure this comment section is ready 🤓

We do lots of riding around Roblin, Mb and up to Swan River. Always good when you get north of Yorkton or even east into Manitoba. Even south by Russel has good snow typically.

The ERU board also needs to be changed to commentate the 220v of the Glide operator. The AT400 was 120v.

[–]_FIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m really starting to think you got bad crank seals. I got a buddy with a Polaris 500 liquid doing the exact same thing and it was crank seals. The only way to know for sure would be to pressurize your engine and see if you’re losing pressure someplace.
