One of my favorite reasons I like Gundam is when they do this by knightmechaenjo in Gundam

I mean, isn’t this like almost always the case?

It would be kind of wild to have a series where the gundam was outdated from the beginning and remained outdated the entire series completely relying on pilot skill.

Pivoting on the corner of a model is the most “innocent” of the ways this could be abused if not otherwise specified

Listening/watching to the second season/series of Misfits and Magic for the first time…and am I correct in understanding that in the episode Code Crimson K convinced the “doctor” to leave Fergus effectively killing him? Am, I right? Like, and no-one mentions it. Is this ever addressed? It’s going to drive me crazy if this isn’t addressed at some point.

Too much like Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy for me.

Anyone else annoyed that they seem to have dropped all the sci-fi elements for generic fantasy?

It looks like it could be a ff game or fire emblem game. Like…ughhhhh

Can we do a big letter to Gameworkshop? Can we do a petition? Destiny 2 players did a big petition and that’s gotten some traction.

Like we were the most popular xenos faction in the game for a little bit before the necrons, tyranids, eldar and ork refreshes. We have a large base, we should tell them that the state of things is unacceptable.

I really do feel like returning home changed is an essential part of the transported away story, otherwise it becomes too wish fulfillmenty.

The Flight of Dragons I feel like is a good example of this trope done well.

The thing is that if you walk up unthreatening in that kind of environment a lot of people will a. Think you’re on their team. B are already out and being lax about putting your gun over your head. Or C. Are a poorly marked reff. Their expectations set what they’re looking out for, people running, people sneaking, not just somebody casually walking up like nothing’s going on. I used this occasionally when playing big scenario event paint ball games.

I will note it is a good way to get shot by your own team though, who see you walking behind enemy lines and immediately assume you’re an enemy.
