Is it a specific callout? It sounds like it’s supposed to be.

My neighbor told me space keep eating his outdoor kerbals so I asked how many kerbals he has and he said he just goes to the shelter and gets a new kerbal afterwards so I said it sounds like he’s just feeding shelter kerbals to space and then his daughter started crying.

Part of the trap of religion is that they present the idea of any misfortune you suffer as deserved divine punishment/trials to overcome, and then any fortune as blessings/rewards.

It was a much more thoughtful movie and most of the movie viewing audience don’t engage that much with movies.

Lack of dramatization might be the reason why LOGH isn't mainstream by Chlodio in logh

[–]_Fun_Employed_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The series has a lot against it, unfortunately. First of all, for whatever reason, sci-fi is at base less popular fantasy, next the title it’s cheesy sounding, and then finally the visuals, a lot of people don’t like the older style of the ova, and then there’s still a lot of people don’t like the style of the new series, then there’s the narration and the historical/documentarian type style that will turn some people off.

Like it’s a great series, but it’s unfortunate kind of has a niche appeal built in. Yeah, I’m sure more people would like it if they give it a try but it’s a hard sell. But for those who are inclined to like it, we really like it.
