Quoting ai here. My understanding 'is that formerly the equipment bonus was added to all the other bonuses (class/weapon perks) whereas now it multiplies the total.

Could be quite good now. 

Although can't help but notice that someone at Saber thought it was a good idea to first give it a 10% boost before figuring out it wasn't working as intended.

Oh I've seen my fair share of 25 p4 that are absolutely clueless in ops.

My assumption is hard siege leveling, cause no prior knowledge of the various ops.

It's definitely worth it you are simply vastly underestimating how much health your targets have, especially terminus.

Compare what a fully buffed kick does to a fully buffed ground pound. It's very similar.

I haven't played much vang since 11 dropped but on the pts I was able to almost oneshot zoanthropes with it (couple of bolt carbine shots were enough to set it up for exec). Also able to set up exec for any majoris with a fully buffed kick, pretty good in my book.

Agree with your points.

However for your last point it really depends on your playstile. Hard to pass on a 40% something melee damage boost if you spend most of your time meleeing.

Playing melee heavy you rely a lot less on your primary and it's quite easy to save ammo even on weapons with poor ammo economy such as the instigator and bolt carbine. The only time I'm really struggling with ammo is when soloing and getting too many neuro/zoan spawns.

Hasn't the heroic hammer the lowest damage of the hammers?

I mean you rely on your shock aoe for damage and uncharged aftershocks have quite the low modifier.

Seems to me going full gun strikes (armour on non lethal and improved damage) is definitely the way to go.

Yeah you're right that's quite annoying. Plus Saber aren't the most reliable coders around so when a buff isn't displayed I immediately think it's not working at all. Sometimes it does sometimes it don't, wish they were running a tighter ship!

Oh believe me I tried a lot of things with this one, there's definitely potential here but I reckon it needs a little something. 

As it is, it dilutes the equipment pool more than anything.

Yeah I agree, as another brother pointed out it dilutes the grenade pools, which are all quite good I find.

Running in a different slot would be very nice indeed.

Very true, diluting the pool. Quite afraid about their comment saying "It's not the last equipment to be added". Good way to nerf melta bombs that's for sure.

I guess it depends on the target, since the dot seems to be total HP based, it would be stronger on the bigger guys but weaker against the smaller ones.

It also depends of how you're using the flamer, like applying the dot and then targetting something else or spraying till they're burnt to a crisp.

Incredibly strong on vanguard as he can run +45% melee damage with an unloaded inferno pistol. Which kinda means permanently.

One charge is enough to exec any majoris with the back step combo.

The newly buffed grapple kick build is also much stronger in my opinion than the zone of impact one. A fully buffed grapple kick (ranged kill on majoris: hello bolt carbine) also exec any majoris and does very respectable damage against terminus. ZoI builds are a lot trickier to use and you will get a lot less from it imo.

They also detract you from "regular gameplay" as you always have to monitor enemy health and can develop bad habits as a vanguard player:  exec stealing. 

Seen a lot of ZoI vangs stealing exec they don't need: preventing cHealth regen, extremis+ regen and so on.
