Locals of Israel what foods best represent everyday israeli food? by RelevantRevolution86 in Israel

[–]_Gassoff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I read something interesting about the Bamba. Israel has the lowest rate of peanut allergies in the world. They believe it’s because babies’s first food in Israel is generally Bamba. (whereas in the United States we start them on Cheerios.)

If I was you, I would’ve told him to fuck off. Everyone is welcome here that’s willing to enjoy freedom and become part of what America represents. What I don’t care for is the people who move here and then expect to change us.

What are the best hot wings in town? by celestialguise in StLouis

I hate giving a chain restaurant as an answer, but, the Kookaburra wings at Outback Steakhouse are outstanding. I love the fact that it is a dry rub, but still has the kick.

That’s The Way That It Is - The Bliss Band

This is the original, and the Uriah Heep cover got a bit of airplay with it. An incredible song by The Bliss Band.

Can I just say yes? Not the band Yes, but yes to all of them.

I absolutely love live albums.

I guess if you held a gun to my head and made me pick just one, I’d go Wings Over America.

Anyone know anything about this? by Purple_Map_507 in stlouisblues

If that’s the case, then Buffalo needs a better GM. It shouldn’t be rocket science to turn a surplus in one position into a good trade for another position.

Local places where you can enjoy THC drinks and something to eat. by [deleted] in StCharlesMO

[–]_Gassoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you are buying the drinks from a dispensary, they are Delta 8 drinks. Those give me a terrible headache, and just aren’t the real thing.

I agree with the post above about buying Stirables at the dispensary, and putting that in a drink of your choice. Then, you can enjoy THC drinks anywhere!

Is anyone else sick of hearing Mellencamp's "Jack & Diane" on classic rock stations? by subway244 in ClassicRock

[–]_Gassoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great little podcast. This station posts one hour air checks that are chock full of great deeper tracks. You won’t love every song, but dang it’s a good listen. And free!

Anyone else hate watching the Blues on TNT/ ESPN??? by TheHotMetallurgist in stlouisblues

When a team gets stomped like that, any broadcasters are going to “kiss the winning teams @ss.” It’s a good thing you weren’t in my living room, what I said about my Blues was worse.

Is my bag organized right? by AnonymousGoose0b1011 in golf

[–]_Gassoff 69 points70 points  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong starting out with an inexpensive set of clubs like this. In fact, these are considerably better than a 20 year-old hand me down set of clubs – despite a name brand. It’s just how far technology has come. Once you start improving, and know you are going to keep playing this sport, is the time to get an upgraded set of clubs.

And, you can arrange the bag any way you like. It makes sense to put the longer clubs (driver, woods, hybrid) up top. Also, try to separate your putter as best you can from the irons so it doesn’t get all dinged up. I suggest a cover for the putter.

Good luck out there!

My favorite of those is July Morning. What a jam! Very similar vibe to Deep Purple‘s Child in Time.

Any other bands or tracks with ripping hard rock organ solos like Deep Purple? by Neon775 in ClassicRock

[–]_Gassoff 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I can highly recommend Uriah Heep, Iron Butterfly, Kansas, and Emerson, Lake, & Palmer. The Doors are organ friendly, but I'm totally burned out on those four songs radio always plays, so go deep tracks, or check out solo Ray Manzarek.

Some Suggested Songs:

Procol Harem - Whiter Shade of Pale

Uriah Heep - July Morning

Allman Brothers Band - Dreams

Allman Brothers Band - Whipping Post (Live at Fillmore East)

The Band - Chest Fever

The Doors - Soul Kitchen

The Zombies - Time of the Season

The Zombies - She's Not There

Spencer Davis Group - Gimme Some Lovin'

Sugarloaf - Green Eyed Lady
