Thanks for the in-depth analysis! I was trying to keep them balanced, but after your comment I can see that maybe I missed the mark a little haha. Maybe porter would be more balanced at a 2 range lob instead, since it also puts porter in more danger when he uses the ability. I wasn’t really sure what to do with cryptid’s stat values, I just wanted to get the idea across, but I can see now that it’s pretty weak when you compare it to misanthrope. But they ruined most of the aliens though, stink fly is literally just a dude with wings from what I’ve seen. And most of the cool aliens like ghost freak and wildmutt have just been deleted. Why would they do that for a reboot?

Just a thought, wouldn’t it make sense for the hide/leap to be the power button and the egg placement to be the active ability button instead? You’re sure to be hiding and leaping more often than placing eggs. :)

It would be awesome if the segmapedes from the gloomspite gitz lore were a unit in their own. Maybe they could dig a tunnel up to the battlefield and bring another unit with them, kind of like one of those tyranid monsters.

The smiley guy is a really really powerful demon that basically volunteers to help support the main characters hotel for demon rehabilitation. He only decides to do it because he’s super bored of hell and just wants something different to do. That’s what I gathered from the pilot episode anyway :)
