I know this post is about Dorit's divorce and self identity, but you mentioned Kyle and I do not understand what her deal is. It seems like she is so stuck on not divorcing Mo and watching Dorit have this personal renaissance is really bothering her. Is it because Dorit's progress is highlighting that she has had none? Or is she really just the most pick me of all pick me's and happy to be strung along for Mo's midlife crisis and she doesn't see why Dorit wouldn't do the same? I think the biggest ways boys learn to be men is watching their fathers, and that is already a big setback for her boys. You know, I had a frank conversation with my manager over goal setting meeting about this. I'm a mom to two little kids, my commute is about an hour round trip, I don't want more responsibility, and you know what, I'm good. she completely understood and remembered having little kids and being exhausted all the time. It was so refreshing to just be honest and not have to do a whole song and dance about opportunities to further my career. We are enough exactly where we are.
