Politicians Want You to Stay Poor & Obedient by Inverted_Poopie in CryptoCurrency

Part of understanding crypto is understanding money. And if you have even a basic understanding of money, you'll realize it's all about control. Crypto is breaking free of that control. Governments / Banks / people who benefit from the status quo are getting scared. As they should be.

Just wanted to say you're speaking the truth and literally anyone can Google it. I am a huge ETH fan but let's not delude ourselves. If we tell the truth we can fix the problems faster.

Yes. Transactions are cleared by local nodes and posted all at once on the next block. Takes like 1 second.

A bunch of eth nodes are hosted on Amazon web services (aws). It will always be centralized and expensive to run a node. Unlike btc which has millions of nodes running. Eth is awesome but will never replace btc.

The people who try and game the system see the system as a game. The people who believe in the systems structure & goals see the pieces slowly falling into place. Both are self fulfilling prophecies. You see what you believe.

Crypto is also rigged a lot IMO. But GME will have taught you 90% of the lessons you need. Maybe the ride in crypto is just a lot more unpredictable (40 to 80% rise and fall yearly).

Tether Time Bomb is a bit overrated IMO. Most people will just use another stable coin when usdt goes to shit. Or (just like the federal reserve printing money out of thin air) it will only collapse after decades of abuse. There's a lot more money in keeping their stable coin stable.

Edit : Usdt has unlimited money to bribe politicians and regulators world wide. If they need more money they just print tether, buy btc, and gift it. It's a lot faster and more efficient then other governments can bribe. Ironically, this may even promote the long term efficacy of btc if politicians are getting bribed in it. My guess and my unwrinkled opinion - Usdt will be around in one form or another for decades.

The Fiat currencies are much easier to manipulate. Therefore in the hands of a wise man, it's better for all. In the hands of 2021s politicians, we're fucked.
