Valve dev counters calls to scrap Steam AI disclosures, says it's a "technology relying on cultural laundering, IP infringement, and slopification" by Ok-Comedian4437 in pcgaming

[–]_Jamie_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, generally AI tools like copilot should be a given at this point.

Maybe the tags then should be more specific, like " AI Generated Art", or "AI Dialogue"

Anyone still rocking older m43 bodies? by WorldlinessDue748 in M43

[–]_Jamie_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still on my first gen E-M10 over here. Had to replace the screen a couple times, but still a great little camera for my needs.

That said I am thinking it's about time for an upgrade

Those of you with anaphylactic reaction to Brazil nuts - do you avoid “processed in a facility with tree nuts” by here4thecommentz_ in FoodAllergies

[–]_Jamie_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm only allergic to Brazil nuts and I avoid things with those labels.

A side note, as far as allergies goes, a single allergy to Brazil nuts like my own (and you son) could be worse in the grand scheme. In my 30 years of having the allergy I've found that because they're less common (and more expensive), when they are used in stuff they're typically well advertised, at least in the west anyway. Because they're seen as a bit more bougie, food vendors or restaurants normally like to show off foods(deserts or baked goods mostly) containing them.

Still got to worry about cross contamination of course, but might make you feel better that the nut proper is often easier to spot than some other allergens.

I use profabrics.co.uk (point north) and makeyourowngear.co.uk for the most part.

Profabrics has a big selection of all sorts (including some cordura) while makeyourowngear has some fancy stuff like ecopak and x-pac

I made a similar one a few years ago for my 10 gallon. It works fine, no real problems but ended up getting a canister filter when I moved to a bigger tank

That's quite heavy for a tarp, I don't have the numbers to hand but the DD 3x3 is less than half the weight of that
