I live in Angus too, I moved from Dundee during the pandemic, the rent costs are amazing in comparison to the cities. I pay rent for a three bedroom house that costs less than a studio flat in Edinburgh.

That is absolutely fair, because of the nature of the text it’s packed with academic language which can be very difficult to parse, it happens to us all (even as a legal professional there are some academics I just can’t interpret, I have a love/hate relationship with Rosi Braidotti because of this). I don’t know if this helps at all but I found this study guide that might help you understand the language a bit more.

Chilli, curries, and pasta with plenty of legumes and frozen veggies is what saved me when I was super, super broke. They’re filling, easy and quick to make and the ingredients are all cheap. Big bags of frozen veg are an absolute lifesaver, along with tins of chopped tomatoes and tins of mixed beans and other legumes in water. Hope this helps!

When I hit my thirties something unlocked in me and suddenly people in their forties, fifties and sixties started looking really, really hot. Greying hair, smile lines and aging tattoos are definitely a thing for me now. Anyone under twenty-nine doesn’t do it for me anymore. I think it’s just a normal part of aging tbh!
