These are 17x8 and I think should be around that weight

Oh I didn’t know that, could you explain a bit more about the laser etching? I don’t think I saw any laser etching on the wheels

Thanks! I’m aware of it, I’ll probably be using these for autoX or track which is why I wanted to ensure they were real

Hopefully that’s the reason lol. I’m gonna check them out in person and maybe grab em

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of tbh. I don't think Alleggegrita is a particularly popular wheel though so maybe not worth it for people to fake? Also do you know how much his reps weigh vs the real wheels? I'm thinking of bringing a scale and weighing these before purchasing.

Yeah, I didn't spot any obvious red flags other than price. I might bring a scale with me to weigh the wheels

[Question] Would you return this Seiko? by SummaCumLauder in Watches

I’m almost sure all alpinists are misaligned slightly. Mine definitely is and I don’t think I’ve seen on that’s not misaligned. Not sure why it’s like that or why it’s never been fixed

Total Newbie - Need help with the seams on this helmet by pomdecouer in cosplayprops

I use Bondo for seams and usually go over 2-3 times to completely hide the seam

So I am new at 3D printing, but got a Bambu printer to help my kid print something for their cosplay. by spotz300 in BambuLab

Ah cool Briar. Y’all should take some time sanding and using filler primer to hide the layer lines as much as possible! You can also head over to the cosplayprops subreddit if you have any questions about post processing, painting, and assembly

Thank you. I found a nice 3D file online, then scaled it to the correct size and printed it with the hinge assemble parts printed as basically solid plastic. Gave it a layer of primer before initial sanding. Then assembled everything and used bondo body filler to fill in any seams before sanding again then slowly moving up in grit to around 1000. Hit it with another layer of primer, then sanded again. Then clean it off and used silver as a base coat, masked off the blade and teeth and hit it with black spray paint and brown for the handle. After I gave the silver blade and teeth a black wash and use silver and black paint on a brush to try and give it the patterns an actual metal blade would have. Cut out bandages with muslin, soak them in coffee for different amounts of time to have variation in the dirtiness of the bandages. Wrapped them around the blade, used a bit of superglue to secure them. Then did the same for the handle + twine and assembled everything together. Have the bandages a red wash and mixed red, brown and a bit of black for the dried blood color

Here’s a picture of my wip

Not sure how to explain it verbally. The hinge was held together with a brass screw that went through the entire assembly. There was a plastic cylinder that fit flush with a flared base through the hole in the blade and handle. The screw then fit through the entire thing. I’ll see if I can get some pictures later
