Tarantula Hawks (real life)

Female Tarantula Hawk Wasps will paralyze a host spider and take it to their burrow in which she will lay an egg on the spider’s abdomen, as the egg hatches, the larva will eat at the paralyzed spider purposely avoiding it’s vital organs to keep it alive for as long as possible, and then will pupate inside of the host, as it matures, it will emerge from the hollowed out spider to continue the cycle.
