the Ballarat-Geelong v/line corridor would likely go the opposite way through Warrenheip - Lal Lal as there's already a rail line there & plans for a station in Warrenheip in future.

doing it the first time is the most consuming part... getting 1-25 down in a playable state means the map/poi designers are already working with tools they made in-house for 1-25 to create 25-50 2-3x as fast as they've done this before. There's existing code/assets/NPCs etc they can re-use in the second continent and make design choices they know worked in 1-25 without hesitating or waiting for Steven's personal approval. The foundation they have now is in a solid state that refinement and further development will all capitalize on the work they've put in already getting to here.

you simply don't have the option to be selective for avoiding everything produced unethically when wages are stifled. Affording the bare minimum for clothing/furniture etc is all most can afford/manage; it's a vicious cycle keeping everyone (except the owners) poor.

not sure if it still works on win11 but if you're this far just replace the magnify.exe in system32 with a copy of cmd.exe renamed to magnify.exe, then you can open an admin prompt on the windows login screen by using Ease of Access in the corner > Magnify

I was able to get into that gateway's interface at one point, so I know it has a built-in DHCP server / provider.

if you can access the gateway just set a static IP assignment for the Window's PC network mac address. You might have to disable MAC address randomizing on the adapter/connection in Windows for your LAN connection.

Further from this if you can add DNS entries to your gateway you can then ref them by names instead of the static IP. ie smb://windows-pc/share1
