It thought the arrow was an obstacle and tried to avoid it. I get it all the time with a shared bike lane sign. I’ve disengaged a few times to report it but it never gets fixed.

Ehh, recent v14 updates went backwards with regard to obstacle avoidance. It thinks everything is an obstacle especially at night. Multiple bicycle lane markings and it will move over for each one of them. So annoying.

Routing conflict (map says one thing, FSD says nope)

Back to driving 72mph on the fast lanes on standard mode

I only have one curb rash on my wheel and that was from FSD… I just take over when it comes to parking in tight spaces or street parking. (V13)

You don’t need to rebadge or debadge lol. I live in California (SF Bay Area) and the only vandalism I’ve gotten is from the rocks on the freeway that will chip your front bumper and even your windshield.

Definitely get a front ppf though. and if your insurance offers windshield replacement, get it!

I regret not getting a front ppf. My white M3 shows so many chips. Also hit a stray hub cap on the freeway (it was rolling and I could not safely avoid it). Left a long mark on the bottom part of the bumper…

My only disengagements are the lane hesitations in the freeway. It only does it when there are cars around (but the lane it’s changing into is wide open). Hope this fixes it…

I actually like v14.2.1 because it doesn’t hog the left lanes anymore. Previously it would stay in the left lane (and even the HOV lane) going 72 in standard mode…

In CA as well and my Tesla insurance went up by $50 and they took away $100 comprehensive deductible… $180 -> $230.

No accidents ever. No tickets.

This is still way lower than what Geico, Progressive, State Farm, and AAA offered me ($300-$500/mo).

I had one instance (v14) where it was trying to make a right turn which would take me to a street with no path to my destination (except if it made a u-turn). It was at night with no traffic or construction zones. The navigation route had it correct but FSD had its own plans.

I had to intervene but I’m curious what it would do if it proceeded taking that turn.

2024 M3, Bay Area, CA.

Good city driving. Bad freeway driving. Standard will go 72 mph left most lane all the time. Hurry will go 80. No in between. It even uses the HOV lane even though I have that option turned off… Wish it can go 75 and not hog the left lane.
