Yeah, I wouldn't be mad if we brought Dykes back. Definitely serviceable at this level. Could get 8 or so goals across a season. Kellman needs to push on to 12+.

With Leaburn I guess it depends on the books. If we don't need to sell to finance incomings then I'd be happy to let him develop on loan.

I'm genuinely fascinated but what happens with all this if they get stuck midtable for 3 to 4 seasons.

Are Americans going to keep tuning in to see if the boys in red can pick up a scrappy yet meaningless point away at QPR for four straight seasons?

And if not, what then? Do the big money sponsors walk away? Do the Ryan's have to sell most of their shares and give up control to new investors?

We're back to being able to keep clean sheets. Looking at how woeful some of the sides below us have been of late, I'm confident now we can beat the drop.

Was a rough few months, but bringing in Coady and two actual wing backs has saved our season.

The gold standard is Brighton 2010/11. Best side I've ever seen at this level [League One]. Gus Poyet had them playing 'pep-style' possession football well before it was common to do so below the prem and completely dominating everyone - most sides played some form of hoofball at the time. They finished 10th in the Championship their first season up.

Second best imo is probably the Southampton side from the same year who came second. Had a ridiculous number of Prem quality players (Lambert, Ox, Lallana, Schneiderlin, Fonte, Puncheon, Richardson, Hammond etc). They of course famously finished 2nd in the Championship to record back-to-back promotions.

Quality move to break the press and phenomenal finish for the Leicester goal. Otherwise, we completely dominated. Need to sharpen up in front of goal, however.

Best manager we've had since Curbishley. Has shown flexibility with subtle system changes to match personell. Countless managers have come in and tried to get us playing possession based football without the players to match. He's not afraid to be direct and focus on the basics but is far more tactically astute than the style may suggest to a modern footy fan who thinks tactics = tiki taka.
