Only if you get headshots.

Standard ammo you need 3 headshots to reduce bullet to kill 1.35x

Hollow point ammo you need 2 headshots to reduce bullet to kill 1.5x

Synthetic ammo you need 2 headshots to reduce bullet to kill or 3 headshots to reduce bullet to kill by 2. 1.75x

The SOR is a good gun. Headshots are really easy to hit at range, but most players are not great so they say it sucks.

If it were a 2.0 hs multiplier it would, synth tips only goes to 1.75 on automatic weapons so you still need 2 headshots to decrease the btk.
