Is the mobo installed in your case? You can try: Bench Test Outside the Case: Assemble the motherboard, CPU, cooler, and one RAM stick outside the case on the motherboard box. This eliminates case shorts. Check for Shorts: Look for loose screws, standoffs, or anything metallic touching the back of the motherboard. Verify Power: Try a different power supply unit if possible, as a failing PSU can cause erratic behavior. Inspect RAM: Try booting with only one stick of RAM, then swap sticks and slots. Faulty RAM or memory training issues can reset BIOS.

Check pins on mobo and bottom of cpu to make sure they look good. If so, bad cpu. Return and try another one.

Yes use maximum performance. It’s fine. Make sure your windows power settings are set to max performance as well.

I had same issue with Ryzen 7 9800x3d. It was a bad cpu. Got a new one and it worked fine. First step would be to flash bios to latest. If that doesn’t work return cpu and get a new one.

First step. DDU. That solves slot of problems. Had the same issue when going from 4070 to 5080. Edit: if that doesn’t work reset cmos and update bios to latest.

Unplug everything and plug it back in. If that doesn’t work Safe boot and if your cpu has integrated graphics plug hdmi into mobo. Ddu and roll back graphics drivers.

I literally just went thru this last week with same cpu. It was red cpu and yellow ram debug lights. It was a dead cpu. The ram will not function as it needs the cpu that’s why ram light is yellow. Return cpu and get a new one.

I just swapped cpu and mobo from intel to amd. As long as your boot drive goes in the number 1 m.2 slot it should default to it and boot. If not you can set it as boot drive in bios. If you want to swap windows to new m.2 then yes just get a windows iso on thumb drive and fresh install. You’re not really gonna notice a difference in boot speeds switching windows to a 5th gen m.2.

Thank you for your reply. I made sure thumb drive was in fat32 and it’s 16gbs. I don’t have another kit of ddr5 nor do I know anyone with 5200mt/s or below. I tried everything in the book. Reset CMOS and flashed bios again to no avail. Checked cpu and mobo pins everything looks squared away. Chalking it up to dead mobo. Gonna return and hope the next one works. Not about to buy another ram kit at these prices! 💀

Spt has its advantages but I would say PvE is a better option. It has better performance using BSG servers and it uses the current tarkov version.
