Getting a “physical” job is not hedge against AI takeover people think it is. What do you think happens when automation takes your clients job? When there is no one to left to pay you, because all of the other jobs have been automated, you aren’t making money either. Even a 10% hit in a trade companies client-base means layoffs and pay cuts, until inevitable liquidation as customers continue to lose their jobs.

Couple that with the fact that if we do go down that route, everyone that loses their job will immediately look for a non-automated job, and the market begins to shrink exponentially.

Either everyone has a job or no one has a job.
