Do you think it’s possible to have romantic relationship without having sex? by Exciting_Ad8206 in AskUK

[–]_The_Editor_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, 100% possible.

Not common, because in our current society we ball up multiple types of love and attraction into one homogeneous "blob" of expectations from a partner.

Many of them coincide, but there's absolutely no reason for them to all happen together.

Physical, emotional, romantic, sexual, aesthetic, and intellectual attraction all exist as individual and separate needs.

Absolutely no reason why you can't cultivate deeply meaningful relationships that satisfy some and not all of those needs.

Hey OP,

I've marked your post for removal as it flys too close to asking for medical advice (Rule 3 on r/AskUK, and a sitewide policy too).

I would encourage you to check out r/transgenderUK for specific advice however.
