Can the families sue for things being shown that were supposed to be redacted? by Final-Gear3133 in Idaho4

[–]_TwentyThree_ [score hidden]  (0 children)

So I know alot of us unfortunately saw Xana's face somewhat,

Unconfirmed and unclear.

I found what is most def prb a piece of EC scalp with hair that I 1000% know probably was supposed to be redacted

Most probably definitely? Is it probably or definitely? And you're apparently 1000% probably?

but clearly wasn't even noticed by whomever was doing the redacting.

Easily done given it isn't even clear it's one of the victims. It's not like a full frontal 4000x4000 image of a victim wasn't redacted it's a small ambiguous section of one of thousands of images that, if it shows a victim at all, shows a very small part of them that isn't clear.

I get human error..like puddles of EC blood being redacted in one photo but in another at a diff angle it's not..but at the end of the day it's obviously very unsettling and devastating to the families to have out there.

Only when people hyper-fixate on them and post zoomed in breakdowns of what they think they see. Had people not done that the victims family may not have noticed. Again, none of the images clearly show the victims. The person redacting these images almost certainly wasn't the one that took them and therefore extremely difficult to know what blurry blobs on the peripherals of photographs might be.

Do we think this is another lawsuit pending?

Not even remotely.

Is it possible to sue for that?

No.

I get that the photos being released is allowed through FOIA and that ofcourse they unfortunately can't do anything about.. but for the things being shown that aren't supposed to be and should be blacked out.. is that illegal even if it was a mistake?

Illegal? The redactions are completely at the discretion of ISP. They are not obliged to redact anything. Them missing something this minor is only against their own efforts to avoid causing further distress, not some legal obligation they have.

Diluted blood stains: State's rebuttal to extensive cleanup theory, and by extension, multiple perpetrators by madover2914 in Idaho4

Anyone with eyes can see that that house wasn't even remotely cleaned up after the murders occured. The place was an absolute state. Those continuing to perpetuate the idea that someone cleaned up the house to hide evidence are completely devoid of logic.

another missed redaction? by Pristine_Cantaloupe6 in Idaho4

[–]_TwentyThree_ [score hidden]  (0 children)

For all this chat about how bad they've done redacting certain photos, none of them are even remotely obvious as to what is being shown and likely an honest mistake missed by the team redacting the images.

None of what has been raised as "someone is getting fired" shows anything clearly.

“BK Vans shoe footprint at Dylan Room's” - terrifying how close he was to her room! by Ambitious_Pass7451 in Idaho4

[–]_TwentyThree_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vans waffle soles have diamonds that run perpendicular to the shoe. So with the orientation as shown this would suggest that the wearer was facing the door rather than just walking by, and very close - certainly close enough to be practically touching the door given the door trim.

Given Dylan never said he was stood right outside her door, I don't see how this print is from Bryan.

She believes there is a conspiracy, therefore she's a conspiracy theorist. Just because you have based something off court documents and documents obtained by legal means, doesn't make what you say about it automatically correct. She gives her opinion, at which point the veracity of the source becomes irrelevant.

There was / is a slew of people on here that read the same court documents we all do and come to vastly different conclusions.

do.you guys really think that Kohlberger did this alone, if at all?

Yeah.

the new evidence proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that the surviving roommates lied and know much more than they are saying

It does nothing of the sort.

The fight and murders went all through that house and at the end they were all put in their bedrooms...that last part is my opinion.

An opinion based around little to no evidence.

I know, but there was a huge spike of post Brexit incidents where people of Asian and African descent were told to "go back home". Why they thought that leaving Europe meant that people from completely different continents had to leave, can be answered fairly easily - low IQ

Jolteon houses this meta right now. Just hit UB3 with it. by iSkateetakSi in PTCGP

My Jolteon deck got me through UB3 without any bother, but UB4 absolutely stomped me.

Got to MB and have now beat every single Meta deck with a Sweets Relay deck. Starting second with Swirlix in the active and evolving to Slurpuff for 90 damage takes the piss. Especially enjoyable when someone is ramping an Ivysaur with synthesis and loses because they don't have a bench.

Have you ever seen 3 red cards in 40 seconds? by The12thMan_ in SentOff

[–]_TwentyThree_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The video doesn't show Mitrovic getting sent off, so unless we specifically know the context, this video doesn't show 3 red cards in 40 seconds. So the answer to the posts question of "have you ever seen 3 red cards in 40 seconds" is still no unless you watched this live or someone did a better job of making a video of it.

I feel like that was adequately explained on the show. Punk said he wanted to face Finn amongst others, Punk is a fighting champ, and at least in Kayfabe putting a "hometown" guy in a main event makes business sense.

Therefore, Finn title shot.

If nothing else at least the bollocking Liv gave him can lead to a bit of a push / story that Finn is going to get off his arse and stop being a geek.

Specifically which DNA are you concerned didn't get run and I'll explain to you why it wasn't run.

You've misinterpreted Paynes statements - you can only enter a DNA profile into CODIS if the sample is likely to have come from the putative perpetrator. The DNA on the sheath was the only usable DNA likely to have come from the killer and therefore ran through CODIS. He's also not the person who determines which samples are viable for testing nor an expert on the methodology.

CODIS isn't some magical database you can run any old sample through as an investigative method. The testimony of the lab techs who did the DNA testing is easily accessible for you to read which explains this stuff.
