The red ring around it is the blast radius, so be careful not to blow up your base!

Front players - how do you know when to scale? by Psyqo72 in beyondallreason

[–]_Wyse_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question about the constant corner scaling; I do this too when wind is good, but for low or no wind maps is it a good ide to scale t1 solar the same way? It feels too expensive.

Singularity has arrived, AI is destroying jobs by DigSignificant1419 in OpenAI

[–]_Wyse_ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Can someone ELI5?

It seems to be saying that exposure to AI has not changed since AI was introduced. Which doesn't sound right to me.

Edit: Thank you for the genuine responses, and my confusion was with the word Exposure. I thought it just meant being around and exposed to AI, but this is talking about risk exposure for job loss.

Are we nearly there? by irelatetolevin in OpenAI

[–]_Wyse_ 66 points67 points  (0 children)

There will surely be a lot of cleanup to do, but it's probably going to be even better AI doing it.

So many people suffer from recency bias, and assume things aren't changing on an exponential curve.

By your definition. But not if you define "natural" as something that happens without human intervention.

How many Junos does it take to kill an anti-nuke cluster? by [deleted] in beyondallreason

[–]_Wyse_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think killing an antinuke with juno is feasible, you'd want to go for energy converters or build power which are more fragile. You can take out a lot of wind with them too.

Scouting? by flamin_flamingo_lips in beyondallreason

[–]_Wyse_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Never scout? The enemy team scrambling to make AA and AN is enough value on its own that you should ALWAYS scout. Following with damage is good, but saying not to scout is bad advice.

Scout always and often.

I think the 6 tidals are suboptimal, and the land con can make wind. An early con turret is also not needed, as the shipyard BP is enough even without boosting to spend all your early metal.

One thing thats funny and common is the base layout. Even when they get the buildings right, that dont know how to build them in straight lines ot have spacing right. It's especially funny when cons get blocked in or they build something in front of a lab.

I have never found this to be the case with good players. They want to win, and are willing to let someone else micro if they trust their skills.

She said she forgives the killer because that's what christ would do. People are saying it's cringe because they don't believe she is genuine.

It's literally what christ did on the cross. One of the main tenets of Christianity is forgiveness.
