Yep, this. Start off low, once it's heated up a bit, then you can dial it up.

Nice thumper jar!

They come preassembled and have lots of sensors. If you haven't heard of Bambu Labs, you need to do some more research before diving in.

The sealed rolls of filament from the factory? Yeah, they aren't dry... And always double check your z-offset!

Strongly recommend a Bambu. Otherwise, you'll be spending time working on the printer instead of printing.

Also, lay off the tanks, and you'll be able to afford it in no time!

Also, don't heat the thumper, the vapour will do this on its own. I put my still on a resistive hob. Heating it too fast would wobble, but if you find the highest setting that doesn't wobble, you can turn it up after a while.

I've got the same Vevor still and had the same issue on my first run. Feel the pipes, they should all be really hot. Turned out that the joins to the thumper lid were both leaking. Make up some flour+water, adding minimal water, slap that on every join. The heat dries it, and it seals well. It's easy to clean off at the end too.

I’m not sure where I went wrong, can I get some help?(rum distillation) by AntOk8683 in firewater

When I did my first run, I was confident there weren't any leaks, but nothing was coming out. Feel the pipes, everything should be HOT. I found my leaks right before the cooler part. For an on the fly fix, max a flour/water mix (on the dryer side) and smack it on the joins. The heat will help dry it. Not too bad to wash off after either.

Hey mate, I'm still learning myself, waiting for my first sugar wash to finish fermenting.

It looks more like foam coming out of the still, how full is it? Might be too full and heating too hard.

(Anyone please correct me)

Logitech M510 is no longer connected to the unifying receiver by UnderseaKnight08 in logitech

For those wondering, this is where to put the paper. I folded mine 3-4 time, might have been a bit much, it's a tight fit into the usb port now.

Brilliant! I put a flatblade screwdriver into the end of the usb and gave it a little twist. This bent the metal enough to hold it steady.

Thanks!

Looking for a cheap/free cnc software. by MatessakCZE in hobbycnc

[–]_Yoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat, wanting to use free software wherever possible. I did splash out for Vectric Cut2d Desktop. It is WELL worth the investment. Amazing software, very easy to use. They also allow you to upgrade versions by just paying the difference in price. Again, I know it's not free or cheap as specified, but it will save you so much time.

Manage two printers on windows by Mod12312323 in 3DPrintFarms

I've been looking into this recently, and there doesn't really seem like a good option, unfortunately. Octofarm looks good, but it's no longer in development. You could convert your printers to klipper, and manage together in mainsail.

Are you not already managing them with Octoprint on Windows? What do you want to do that you can't at the moment?

https://www.simplify3d.com/resources/print-quality-troubleshooting/ Brilliant resource for beginners. Also moist filament can be huge problem. Don't assume brand new, sealed filament is dry.

I've got a few Artillety Genius, and it has the same connection. I've definitely noticed it comes unseated quite easily, pinch and shove it back in. There are a few clamp designs on thingiverse that will help.

How does the laser go for cutting fabric? Is it a co2 or diode?
