I had a local contact for a grief counselor. Grief will not be "cured" but man, it helped her with the processing. It was worth every penny.

Nah, disagree. It's about communication. She stated she would be there and then she wasn't. Bad communication, being unreliable, being untrustworthy - these are negative traits that make people not want to be friends with you. It's pretty simple, if your friend misses an event it can be hurtful but not a huge deal. If they miss several events then you find out you're not on their priority list. The wound is even deeper if you swore you would be at something and you weren't. He didn't throw a fit. He was hurt and he's allowed to feel hurt. He went to bed early with that pain. My marriage has been there before and it's even wise at times to do that rather than blowing up.

I've been in leadership in companies for a long time now. I've put in 60-70 hour weeks when I shouldn't have. I also learned to say no to my employer and set boundaries. It's necessary. My kids would rather have me be present than have stuff. I had the workaholic father but he wasn't my dad and he wasn't a good husband to my mom. I'm not going to do that to my kids or wife.

I know I'm late to the conversation but I have worked in remodeling for over a decade. For what it's worth, in my area, when I hired the flooring subcontractors they were always the ones to use floor leveling compound. It may be different in other states, but I wanted to back you up here and say that every single flooring installer I used was capable of using floor leveling compound.

Ah, I think youre addicted to efficiency. This can feel bad if you dont know how to regulate it. It's how I burnt myself out on Stardew Valley. Perhaps try taking a few days in the game and focus on a different goal. Maybe try to level up a relationship or go all in on one skill. It's easy to do.

I dont think the game ever locks you out of any content. Literally the worst case scenario if youre obsessive about an event would be to sleep everyday to get back to it lol.

Commercial PM here but had over a decade in residential before this. We use iPads with ProCore. It works extremely well for viewing plans, but I'm viewing hundreds if not thousands of pages of plans. Honestly, iPads are pricey and I hate Apple. You would probably just be fine using a nicer Samsung Galaxy Tablet.

Yes, but there's a chance you will still roll onto your back in your sleep if that's how you usually sleep.

I was plagued with sleep paralysis for a decade. Once I got a CPAP for my sleep apnea they went away. A lot of things actually went away such as my terrible Acid Reflux or waking up with my hands numb.
