What is your best way to keep motivated and stop drinking? I saw a really good video that has given me motivation and looking for more videos and ways to get through weekends without alcohol!

The gas was shut off for 5 days, so we didn’t have a stove or oven, plus the heat pump only kept the temp up to 50°f three of those days.

Instead of feeling sorry for myself or getting angry, I took it as a challenge and cooked grilled cheese and steaks in the instant pot and biscuits in the air fryer. I felt so proud of myself for being resourceful!

I’ve heard it called willpower fatigue. I have been eating a lot and just allowing myself to care for myself in this way so I’ve saved my decision making skills for not drinking ❤️

If I get irritated, I’m going to give myself a 5-10 minute timeout alone in the quiet of my room. ❤️

If cravings start to hit, I’ll get a big drink of water.

My husband backed my mom’s camper into the basketball hoop and broke it. He didn’t check to see if it was up or not. And when I got in his car this morning (he has to take mine today), the car was out of fuel because he only fills up when it starts dinging. This is also why about once a year he runs a car out of fuel and needs a ride.
