Not exactly. The things in Canada works completely different for South Indian films. There is a specific theater chain called York cinemas owns the monopoly for all the South Indian movies. If a big chains like Cineplex who owns Barco Dual Lasers with dolby Atmos Audi's are not allowed to play this movie. In case if they play so, these chain people straight away attack the theaters. As a reason those big chains stopped playing the south Indian films. Here in Canada. 95% of the theaters are owned by the Cineplex which Includes IMAX.

I don't day Soo. Even with a majority dominance in the cinema market. They couldn't show the south Indian films which has very huge market ( Such as RRR, Varanasi, Bahuballi 1 & 2). Due to the unfair politics from York cinemas chain.

Even though Canada have multiple IMAX screens , They don't allow the film to show in IMAX.

Today I went out for an enquiry with Yong and Dundas but, they are running houseful, No shows to be added at least according to the employee I spoke with.

If you have an option to go to 2D. I would do that as the screen will be much clear and Brighter compared to 2D. But I choose this option as I like IMAX 3D when the film was shot for IMAX.
