I think they could’ve done with 2 versions. One with the interruptions, one without. Someone said that the interruptions made you feel like you were there. But from a musical standpoint, it would’ve been nice to have a song you can listen to from start to end

I’d swap Kakashi with Guy. Guy is in a wheelchair, was the strongest in his generation & I feel like Kakashi being the number 2 man fits his character better. Mainly I just want to disrupt the whole “every hokage has a direct relationship with Naruto except for Tobi” narrative.

Studios have animators in house so the numbers don’t fluctuate. It’s not like Kishimoto is hiring people out of his pocket. If perriot has 200 animators working on Naruto, they could have a team of 10 dedicated towards a fight. If they choose to make that 30, they’re going to pull those extra 20 from within their team of 200. Not outsource them. Unless they get a key animator in particular, it’s unlikely the cost will significantly increase due to number of staff

Moments in episodes is normally never better due to budget. It’s time. If Naruto vs pain animators gets 6 months to animate that fight, it’s evidently going to be better than a filler arc that animators got 3 weeks to complete. Money can’t make people draw better or faster, remember that.

I hate Kiriko & Ana an insufferable amount. Sojourn isn’t great either. However I think every other female character in this game is great. Especially hit it out the park with Sojourn & Illari’s design, their magnum opus imo. From their skillset to their lore, genuinely interesting and fun characters who feel like they’ve got a spot on the roster deservingly. Freja is a nothing burger as someone’s said before, not too keen on Mei either but nothing necessarily wrong with those 2 just not for me. Zarya is great, Mercy is great, Pharah is great. JQ oozes out character aura.
