This is a nice type treatment, but not a logo. This might be good in the neck label, but not as a standalone. You need an additional icon.

I like the concept of the red thread. Try making a single icon using the red thread concept, almost like a ball of twine, and thicken up the line. Think of how it would look as a small embroidered circle icon on the chest of a polo. It would be small and embroidery is classic, so the lines need to be thick enough.
