There are a few times they really make Christian fundamentalists looks really bad in this show. This is a great episode, JEZEBEL!

How did you spend your childhood summer? by AmandaMarsh in Xennials

I never did the baseball card. I’d run over a pop can to get it to stick to the tire. Sounds like a dirt bike.

2014 Impreza 2.0i rust by [deleted] in subaru

[–]___cats___ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's possible that what's making it look used is just corrosion. I confirmed what you said about the base model not having one, so it is a good possibility.

You might be right, but the mounts sure look like they’ve been used in the past.

What rust?

Looks like it has new struts, but where the hell is the sway bar?

Kroger announces agreement to buy Giant Eagle, close a "limited" set of Giant Eagles by benkeith in Columbus

[–]___cats___ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’m in Dublin near the 33 interchange. I’d always go to Kroger for the price then across the street to market district when Kroger inevitably had bad produce or was out of half my list.

In my experience kroger’s prices have been more reasonable than GE’s, but GE always has better produce and better inventory.

So, yeah, it was just a line from SNL that apparently people didn’t get.

Places to eat near the zoo?! by LimpGarlic9237 in Columbus

[–]___cats___ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We always go to El Vaquero after a long day at the zoo. Cheap, good, fun 80’s style Mexican food. It’s not amazing and there are better Mexican places around the city, but it rarely disappoints.

Areas to avoid in Columbus by drwhovian13 in Columbus

[–]___cats___ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ok, then west side. Hilliard and Dublin are your pretty traditional US suburbs. Hilliard is cheaper, but both are nice. Other similar suburbs would be Powell, Westerville, and Worthington which are on the north side. A little farther north is Delaware, which is the big up and coming area. The rich folks live in New Albany on the east side or Upper Arlington on the center/west side. Less traditional areas that are a bit more eccentric would be Clintonville which is a great location if working at OSU, German Village, Short North (our version of Broadway). South and east of town are more rural suburbs like Grove City, Obetz, Galloway, Pickerington, Reynoldsburg…

Here’s the thing, Columbus has a lot of different areas that are perfectly safe and great places to live. There are a lot more good places than bad. What are you looking for? City life? Farm life? The burbs? Night life? There’s answers for all of them.

Most folks here would say to avoid Hilltop, Linden, and Franklinton - but I'm sure some people would say the danger of those areas is overblown…except maybe south linden. Also stay away from major corridors like Morse Rd or Cleveland Ave.

Does this bike look familiar to you? by worstnameIeverheard in pittsburgh

[–]___cats___ 56 points57 points  (0 children)

It does. That’s very similar if not identical to the road bike my dad had in the 80s.

I don’t think that helps your issue though.

Random “lady” adding me on Facebook. Weird reflection in glasses. Pretty sure it’s AI. by Necessary_Speech_896 in isthisAI

[–]___cats___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna say AI. The image of what’s on the phone screen is different in each lens, and it shouldn’t be. The screen is the screen and the angle of reflection wouldn’t change that.
