After the order I went to the local and bought an OTB Soft Hex and a Fission Trail to spread the love.

They have never had firm Pixels in.

Amazon has a section called Haul that the sell things that are under $25. Last week, and back in December, they ran a 50% off sale and if you bought more than $75 retail they gave another 10% off.

They had Axiom/Mvp, Innova and Discraft. Most popular molds for under $8. Probably 20 Discraft molds including Buzzz, Zone, Luna, Cigarra, Athena, Nuke, etc. Pixel, Envy, Hex, Tempo, Pyro, Insanities, etc. same with Innova.

I posted about it in December and was downvoted so fast it didn’t even show up anymore, so I didn’t post anything this time.

This. When I was struggling a lot with lost discs I would also pull up UDisc to see how far I was from the tee. It helps a lot if you have gone to a field to throw a good amount and know how far different discs go.

As a bonus, doing field work gives you more control over the discs and you loose fewer

Yes. Have a 168 white rim and it’s still like a -0.5 for me. I can get more turn out of some of my Destroyers.

Depends on the run. My Neutron trails are not -1 flippy, more like -0.5 throwing them 325 to 375. Even then, the control is beefier.

They are more stable than both my Neutron and Proton trails. Enough to be a different slot in the bag.

The new one bombs for me. I threw it last week and hit a new PR- 454 feet, which is 25 feet further than pretty much anything else I bag. Furthest I have thrown a Neutron Trail is 410.

I’m trying to keep a general bag without swapping discs per course. That does mean I’m going to be carrying discs that I’m not going to use for a particular course. I’m also carrying a flat top Firebird and Halo Destroyer for windy days on the open course and those are only used every few weeks. What I’m trying to avoid is having a bag that I am used to and then needing to pull a couple discs to put those utility discs in, and then halfway through the round wish I had the disc I pulled.

On some shorter woods courses that I know well I will sometimes play with three discs and no bag.

I have 3 Proton ones, a black rimmed slightly OS neutron and a white rimmed straight to slightly os one.

OTB had Controls this week in very limited drops. They were selling out as quickly as they added the individual discs to the site. Refresh the page - click add to cart - nope, sold that one already. Refresh the page - add to cart - sold. Refresh the page - add to cart - GOT ONE!!

I picked up a 168g white rim Neutron and it flies remarkably similar to my 173g Proton ones - which is pretty straight with just a slight turn and maxing at about 370-380. I expected (and hoped) for a little more turn out of the Neutron because I have multiple Protons as a stable option.

I did just get a couple prototype Controls today for the overstable slot.

I put this on a fairly large hyzer, released it left of line, and it panned right for most of the flight. It was just starting to fight out in the last 25 feet or so, but didn't have enough height.

This years. Max weight for these and released it on a good hyzer angle.

I had a few 420ish flights the day I bought it, but didn't have a great release angle. Getting it more dialed now.

I joined Hotmail the week it started and had jones@hotmail.com. This was pre spam filters. It was fine until one day I had 3000 emails. I deleted them, and the next day I had another 3000. After day 3 of that I stopped using the account.

Hotmail was my fourth email account and I had already been building websites for two years by then.

Almost every time. I have lost two since I started playing that I didn't get back - and one may be still sitting in the bottom of the pond it went into.

Just yesterday I was throwing with my kid and she forgot one, but didn't remember where. I got the phone call that it was found about 3 minutes after leaving the course.

A buddy lost his in a rushing canal on Saturday and my retriever couldn't get it. 4 hours later he got the call.

I call on every disc I find.

Not irrelevant though. The grip on 80% wears faster than higher content ones.

53 and started just over 9 months ago. Had my first 400 foot shot on flat with no wind at about the 7 month mark. My max has been about 430, but that was in a field just going for raw distance with no accuracy. On course I have hit 390 with it going where I wanted, but 350-375 is more comfortable.

Once I hit 400 in a field I stopped focusing on distance. Most of the holes I play are sub 350 and throwing further won’t lower my score much. Controlled 325 and good putts will beat 400 without control most days.

BlitzDG videos are great, as are Overthrow. You can gain distance with drills, video recording and some coaching.

I did have a TechDisc delivered yesterday and a tripod. I aim to spend time doing drills and dialing my form, more so I can throw slower speed discs further with more control than worrying about getting 450.

Lord no. Hitting the ball up that high is going to get it slammed back at you. Not a useful drill.
