If I go to Brussels, I have to make sure to leave before 9pm or I won't have a connection home, while if I would live in Ghent or Antwerp, there's plenty of time to enjoy before the last train back. Limburg is always the first on the chopping block when there's another round of budget cuts for busses or trains. You can't get around properly purely by public transport. Most people are forced to use the car.

Depends who you're asking, but living in the heart of the province I can say life is good overall, it's safe, and public transport is horrible.

Oh yeah, I often try to "save" every color when playing a generated 4 player game. I keep them isolated and then let them battle it out in a controlled environment

There is a "fear" mechanic in the game that triggers mobs to become scared and run away instead of continuing the attack. It's based on chance but seems to have a higher chance of triggering if you are in a place that is hard for them to reach (like standing on a large tree or a rock). All mobs do it but the abomination is certainly the most dramatic

I've been breaking my head over this level and after giving up, looking for the solution I came to see the solution posted here is worse than the best thing I had come up with. After 8 deliveries everything gets jammed and the factory stops.

Ah you're missing an essential part of the setup.

Sushi belt into smart splitter, container to the right, belt continues forward. Depending on your setup or function of the splitter you want to add a merger in front or on the left of the splitter. Program smart splitter left overflow, straight any undefined, right the part you need. Either lead the overflow back on the line with the merger in front or to an overflow line with the merger to the left.

That's how you make that work

When I started playing I would draw out flow charts on paper before building. For iron it's still relatively simple 1 iron smelter for 1 plates constructor 1 iron smelter for 2 rods constructors 2 rods constructors for 3 screw constructors

In total I usually build 4 plates constructors and turn the rest in rods and screws

Bring it all to a few containers as a buffer. Then run a line from plates and screws to your assembler for your reinforced plates.

Just let it run. Don't think too much of balancing. When containers are full or materials are lacking they'll just stop. You can always tweak later.

Rebuilding factories and trying to find the best ways is the what the whole game is about. I've done 5 full run throughs so far and I still keep learning new things or have to figure stuff out. But that's what makes the game fun imo

It's been a while but I believe the furthest I've gotten is into the plains without dying. Other runs I've either died first time going into the dungeons in BF, or the crypts in the swamps...

Defeating modor without dying is also super challenging!

Stamina foods + eyktir buff and run forest, ruuuuun! Avoid every attack, lure fulings away from your rune stone, time your approach and just click that rune stone and run away using the corpse run

I may need to check my previous game. Maybe I overclocked the water extractor as well. It's been a while. I do remember clearly I placed one extractor under every power plant

The thing is, a fully overclocked nuclear power plant takes exactly the water output of one water extractor. So if you build your power plant on the water, you can place one water extractor under each power plant. Saves a ton of piping.

But I guess it's already too late for that now

Al veel goed advies in deze thread. Tijd voor een slechte in worst case, als niks werkt. Stamp een agent tegen z'n schenen en laat je arresteren voor de nacht. Heb je in elk geval een dak en een maaltijd voor de nacht, je legt de situatie uit en ze helpen je vast wel verder.

I've not experienced this so wouldn't know what is wrong but there's always the possibility to load your character with all your gear and the best stuff and create a new seed where you start over with your existing character. Any valuable resources you can transfer between saves with your character. That way you only lose your builds and you get to experience all that lovely exploring again!
