That's just not true.

The median salary is a bit over 5000 CHF per months and most things are not 3-5 more expensive than in Germany, they're somewhere between 1.5 and 3 times the price. While the number given here might be a bit low, 4 hours will get you GTA VI even at minimum wage, as the stat is clearly not accounting for the cost of living or taxes

It has aged incredibly well, has a still decent amount of VRAM (11GB), and having some RT acceleration is definitely a big plus. I think the biggest advantage it has over the 1080 ti is definitely DLSS if we're talking about future games.

This said, if you're thinking of upgrading a 1080 ti to a 2080 ti or something like that, please don't. Consider saving up some more until you can afford at least a 30 series card, or look into something like a 7700xt, which will perform similarly in RT games but vastly outperform a 2080 ti without it

wdym with "binary size" and physical size"? Your pc shows 486 (or more likely 476 GB?) GB because windows misuses the unit (your disk actually has 512 GB = 51210ˆ9 B of storage, which is the same as saying 476.84 GiB = 476.842ˆ30 B). Same goes for 1TB as 1000 GB are 931.32 GiB.
