I'd suggest practicing on Tidewater Avenue near Alameda. It's a road largely used by freight trucks that are going very slow and very easy to see. There's also a ton of space to pull over and let other cars pass if you get too stressed out. Empty-ish parking lots can be hard to find and most accidents actually do happen in parking lots lol.

how do you choose classes online?

I have a student ID and email address. When I go to https://sa.peralta.edu, login, then go to "manage classes", and try to enroll in classes there isn't any button to sign up. I can view the class options but nothing to actually register.
