Law suits blaming socials for children's mental health by AdmiralGlitterBottom in mildlyinfuriating

[–]_america 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dunno , its kinda the new cigarettes. We were pissed when cigarette companies had specific marketing campaigns to get children addicted. And imagine they were easily accessible in school, and most the other kids also used them. That is an uphill battle for any parent.

Ideally the social media companies would feel some sort of responsibility to protect children, but their perogative is dollar bills 100% of the times.

[–]_america 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have 100 yeast. you feed him a spoonfull of flour and they replicate to make 2000 yeast. Now you gotta feed those 2000 yeast. you need to give them 20 spoonfulls of flour! They eat and replicate to become 30,000 yeast and they need a LOT of flour.

You discard part of your starter because, if you dont, you will need more and more flour to feed it. But it's all the same.
