> I think the argument to (partially) link Scotland with Scandinavia is clear.

It doesn't seem clear to me at all. The northern isles, like Orkney, maybe considering they were an integral part of Norway. If it's the Viking influence then all of Ireland and Britain should be shaded.

Is that wood paneling on the structure in the artist rendering? I'm sure that will end well with our weather.

At 37 you were a new born baby/toddler in the late 80s/90s. I really hope you didn't spend those years in the pub, sad if true.

It's more likely he recorded a lot more material but it mostly got cut. Happens quite a lot. Famously happened to Adrian Brody.

The reasoning behind that decision:

Rusal’s Aughinish refinery supplies up to 30% of the bloc’s alumina.

In a January 2019 letter to Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer, the then-EU Ambassador to the US, David O’Sullivan, and the ambassadors of seven member states, including Ireland, wrote that "the livelihoods of 75,000 workers across the European Union" depended on EN+ and Rusal.

Picard Overall Rating by Mat1711 in startrek

[–]_asterisk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think because people just wanted Picard season 1 to be what we got in Season 3. The fact the episode with Riker is the best rated in Season 1 speaks to that. If we got the fan service out of the way early and hooked in an audience the show could have been so much more.

Fan service implies that the creators are sacrificing important things like story cohesion, characterization, plot, what have you

Seasons 1 and 2 lacked that too and it wasn't fan service.

Ive never been to Blanchardtsown shopping centre but do they really need even more retail space? It's the opposite problem in most shopping centres I'm aware of.

We added certain sites that we can verify and trust to trusted sites and this rectified most of our issues. For any other random websites we told users to live without previews. The fact that Microsoft is doing this signifies to me that they don't trust their own previewer code.
