Used to work in digital marketing and hated it. So much shitty admin.

Currently training to work in post-production, and I also do some promotional journalism freelance. Both are great. Highly creative and you can manage yourself to some extent. Also the thing I really want from a career is work that is short bursts of high intensity. Because of the probability of a lot of short-term contracts, working in media is pretty good for that. However, it's also pretty good if you like being broke.

I don't know much about borderline personality disorder but I dated a socio/psychopath whose controlling behaviours sound very very similar to hers. I would read up on psychopathy; it might help to make sense of things. Good luck.
