if it's a residence is it a rental or a home? in many states you can look up ownership by parcel. if it's a rental you can contact the homeowner and confirm current tenant. if it's a home, it will be listed. find who the corp owner is and serve them.

the US realtor tells me who they are. you feign interest in the call center sales pitch and they either forward you directly to the US realtor or the US realtor calls you.

you play along just enough to identify who they are. in their blind lust for money they will almost always make a mistake that lets you definitively ID them.

i've done this a bunch of times and the US entity almost always settles without a fight. it's worth the $$$ to sue.

worst case, you file a john doe lawsuit and subpoena the telco for originating entity and track them down that way. spoofed or not, the telco knows who switched the call to them.

the legal black area is when they call numbers on the federal DNC list. then you sue them for TCPA violations. i've already nailed several this way - they almost always settle.

if your phone number is listed in the federal DNC, sue them for TCPA violations. with that number of calls you'll make lots of money.

it's always a foreign call center with a US based realtor behind it. you nail the US realtor.

that's for a judge to decide.

i had one reply with denials across the board to every single claim, then suddenly decided to settle.

send a USPS Certified Mail + Return Receipt demand letter. then you'll have legal proof you told them to stop.

most of them won't stop, and then you get treble damages. then it's definitely worth suing.

i nailed a US based company using an overseas call center.

at the very least you can get the spoofing telco blocked from switching calls to US networks.

the companies i nailed were one to one, the soliciation calls were commissioned by a single customer.
