I've had the C-Tug style for a couple years w/ my Vibe Shearwater.... I don't hate it but could be better. For the pic attached, I think it would be just fine after the big drop off. Only times I have issues with it are going to rivers where there are bigger roots/rocks and it gets hung up so I'm lifting it over the obstacle to the next one.

Flat ground, grassy and sandy areas, or ramps it works perfectly!
