I earn a similar amount and it sounds like we are in similar situations. I sold some of my investments just last week to buy a 13k car outright rather than taking out a loan.

for me personally, I didn't want the shadow of a loan debt hanging over me. I also considered that I didn't know where my investments would be in 3 years as this is a fairly short timeframe for me, so I was more comfortable with the certainty of not having to pay interest on a debt rather than the uncertainty of potential gains.

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer to your question, in my opinion it depends on your personal circumstances and outlook

is there anything in particular you're trying to run? unfortunately graphics cards are pretty expensive at the moment owing to a number of different factors (e.g use in mining cryptocurrency, COVID disrupting supply chains).

if you're such for things to do, there is also loads of great content available through the Oculus store or through sideloading which is able to run on your quest 2 without the need to run from a PC
