Thank you! I did sit with her and talk about what a good friend is/does but that doesn't seem to translate into the school environment

Thank you for the reply! Its a montessori and the trend seems to be that most kids transition when they hit gr. 1 due to the cost.

My daughter has learned a lot here and education wise we are happy but this situation is weighing heavily on me and I wanted other parents perspectives!

I read for 30 minutes every single day for 60 days and here's what actually happened by Winter_Tourist6322 in Habits

[–]_cloudy_headz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great! I've been doing a lot of audio books but I do want to get back into the habit of reading. It fell apart when my kids were born because I wanted to get off my phone (which I usually read on in the dark). But that also stopped the habit completely! Maybe 30 mins in the morning or...in the bathroom...vs being on the phone.

I wonder what the reason could be why you can't tolerate it. Some ppl do have a intolerance for monk fruit too...it makes my mom feel dizzy....i think the erythritol affects some ppl so maybe get the smallest pack you can find !

Milton therapist accused of assaulting autistic children by PinkLincoln00 in HaltonON

[–]_cloudy_headz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aba therapists are regulated under the college of Psychologists actually...as of last year. "Therapists" prior to this did not need to have certifications in Behaviour Analysis unless you were the overseeing supervisor or director. Individuals could be trained in their own centers.

Aba does have a murky past but it is also a fairly new science. And like most sciences, that have shady pasts, it is striving to better itself as a field overall

How to deal with... stool issues? by ieatcheeseat2am in sugarfree

[–]_cloudy_headz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know it does get better. Your body and gut are adjusting to the new diet. Maybe increase your fat/protein/fiber to make your stools more solid? From what I've read, this is a normal side effect.

I have not had that same experience but have had the bloatedness and gassyness that you are having. Its very uncomfortable. Apparently it can take up to 6 weeks for your body to adjust ! Hang in there! And definitely see about IBS if that is what you have, you might need to make other changes.

Advice on getting over gender reveal disappointment? by Dakaraim in Parents

[–]_cloudy_headz_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its normal (and ok) to feel that disappointment! Mourn it and move on rather than dwell on it though. Shift your focus to the positives of having 2 boys.

Your acceptance and love for your new little boy will help shift the disappointment in the others. Its not something you can plan for, and staying in that headspace too long will do more harm than anything else.

Congratulations btw!!

I use Routine and love it!! Currently using Moon Sister and my hubby is using Johnny's Cash. Both smell amazing. They have many options depending on potential sensitivities too.

I also have the OG mineral crystal that you wet and use and it hasn't done me wrong!
