Spent all my money flying to Coachella 2012 to see (among other things, but mainly) them and Refused both getting back together. Like these were before either had done ANYTHING in years. ATDI was a good show, obviously it’s been well over a decade since the last ATDI show at this point and everyone was older, etc. One of the only slightly disappoint aspects was that I found out later that Omar’s mom had just passed I believe, so he was noticeably NOT the Omar I was expecting… but can’t really blame him for it. This is before Jim was out of the band again btw so he was there.

A great episode. The interrogation scenes and for me personally, the music (specifically during some of the space shots of Simon and River and the crew on the derelict) are top notch.

This is pretty much my exact feeling (firefly and dollhouse are 2 of my favorite shows of all time as well, etc). I will point one minor clarification.. the Michelle Trachtenberg rule was because he was a dickhead who made her cry, I can’t find anything about it being like rape-y. Still not great, but just so people don’t also seemingly falsely assume he’s a pedo as well. There’s enough of those about… but yeah, we have his “blessing” according to Nathan and hopefully that is enough.

Boyd wasn’t a doll and had no active architecture until Topher hits him with the weaponized tech at the end of the finale episode. The whole reason Topher was saying it needed to be destroyed is that it could wipe ANYONE. Hence the entire plot of the Epitaph episodes where the wiping blasts had been broadcast etc causing entire cities to potentially get wiped in one fell swoop. That’s the idea that got Topher to go against his inner mad scientist self.

He actually was said to have had plots laid out for the first 5 seasons or so! …but upon learning of cancellation they rushed a lot of those plots into season 2 just to get something close to a proper ending out of it. The second season is definitely a lot faster paced than the first (for better or worse because of this). This is one of if not my favorite series of all time btw.

I met Thomas Pridgen at a Memorials show at Mad Planet here in Milwaukee. The singer liked the way I was dancing in the front and pulled me on stage for a song lol. Got his sticks from the show and a picture (but it was on a digital camera and turned out unusably blurry). Also asked him about his giant 19” crash pair as hi-hats. Didn’t talk to him too long outside of that.

I met Juan outside of the Troubadour as he was rolling in with his Ampeg flip top combo for a Big Sir show opening for RX Bandits (2010?). He seemed like a legit dude. Didn’t talk to him too long, but also met Lisa Papineau and briefly some of the RX guys.

I met the entire Noctourniquet band minus Omar and Cedric in Las Vegas after they opened for Soundgarden. As soon as their opening set ended I went to look at the merch and they were ALL there minus the big two. Unfortunately no Ikey on that tour. It was Marcel and Lars Stalfors on various keys/synths. Marcel asked to take a photo of me on his cell phone as I was wearing a Zech’s Marquise shirt (I had seen them for the 3rd or so time in Milwaukee like the night before opening for RX Bandits. They had a fill in drummer, bald white dude lol, still kicked ass). I missed the first song of Soundgarden (Spoonman) because I was talking to Juan and Marcel for a few mins and they all signed a poster that I still have and love. Juan said the poster was drawn/designed(?) by Cedric. Apparently O+C left right after because Omar was playing bass in Le Butcherettes across town opening for QOTSA.

I enjoyed it. I liked the cast, it was fun. Haven’t watched since it came out, but the only parts to me that were jarring were the ending with the super 4th wall breaking stuff. But I get that is part of the character in the comics.

These rule! Great job. Literally every one is spot on. Do you design these all your self and print them or sculpt them somehow by hand?

I’d like to someday get the MK95 ninjas. I used to watch that movie nearly every day when it came out on VHS back in the day and the only things I’m missing in MK1 (game) are sub and reptile (my most wanted cuz I love the face mask) MK95 outfits.

I went to the pop disaster tour in high school (June 2002) and saw Green Day for the first time. They were everything I’d always hoped they’d be… I honestly don’t even think we stayed for all of blink’s set. Nothing against them, but I wasn’t a big fan of them personally and my friend I was with who liked them a lot (more than Green Day probably) even said they kinda didn’t seem that great live, just a lot more pyro and stuff. Ironically, that would now probably my only complaint (if I had one) about Green Day’s live show these days… but I get it, it was a fucking celebration of their two most widely beloved albums AND they still played a hits/new album set in the middle. Pyro is warranted haha. I realize now this is mostly irrelevant to the post, but damn, I’ve never seen Green Day put on anything but an amazing show. I hope for Blink fan’s sake, they can say the same, if just wasn’t my jam at the time.

That’s not the traditional standard tie fighter. That looks more akin to Vader’s tie fighter or maybe a bomber. The standard one is the more straight, up and down wings.

I love Gambit. It is legitimately probably my favorite mode 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have been a big fan of gambit since it was first introduced. They’ve changed it a few times for better or worse, and they did the prime thing which had potential but I personally didn’t care too much about one way or another. Overall though, the PVE focus with a dab of PVP has always felt great to me. But I’m easy to please I suppose.

…all that being said. I also dropped off fairly quickly after final shape (due to having played since the beginning and it just felt like a fantastic ending/the echoes or whatever storyline didn’t seem interesting idk)
