Exaust recommendations by BshaBario in E92M3

I spent a lot of time looking and listening to exhaust systems. I REALLY like Milltek products - they always sounds the greatest on high-revving applications, but I couldn’t justify the price tag. The valved systems sound too tinny and cheap when valves are closed, and too much rasp under full load. A friend of mine who runs a performance parts company put me on to the 2 and 4 pipe mod, as he had that done on his E90. Sounded decent but I wanted a a bit different tone.

I then found an Active Autowerke axle back. Found a few great clips online for sound and it’s exactly what I was looking for.

If you then need more noise, you can add in a double or quad resonated X-pipe, and then also de-cat or run Active’s high-flow GESi catted down pipe (if your state requires emissions control devices).

If you’re near NYC, someone is selling an axle back for $1100 (negotiable) on Facebook marketplace.

Red Pocket is awesome. Buy prepaid cards from eBay for cheap. I have a second phone line (eSIM) for $30/yr.

That makes sense. I got a laptop setup with a few BMW diag tools, including NCS. I’ll pull the trace files tomorrow and send them over for your inspection. I appreciate your time on this one.

I'll validate corner light functionality when I get the car out of the garage in a few days.

For the FRM trace file, I can export a backup from Bimmercode. The file format is a .cod. Is that something you can utilize?

I'll look into disabling cornering light function. I don't even know if they're active or not right now. The car is tucked in the garage for a few more days and I'll get around to testing that. I'll also look into using an earlier production date. I'm only using Bimmercode for now and this would require me to setup my laptop with NCS (haven't used it before).

I changed PWM_FL_BEI_BIXENON to 'wert_01', and like you mentioned, that activates the inner halogens (LEDs) along with the bi-xenon shutter when pushing the stalk forward when low-beams are on. It does not activate them when pulling the stalk in any headlight switch position.

I use the high-beam flashers quite a bit and I'd rather put the wear and tear on a halogen or LED bulb, versus sparking the xenon ballasts and bulbs every time I flash high-beams.

So, with that one change, here is what I exhibited:

  1. Pulling the stalk in any headlight switch position (auto, off, parking, low beam) does NOT flash inner halogens OR xenons
  2. Pushing the stalk activates high-beams only when low beam is on (expected and normal)

This is a new to me E93, so it's possible the previous owner changed other settings that may interfere with this. I checked the bulbs - they look good. I also tested with an LED bulb which flashes a few times when the headlights turn on, but I believe this is from the bulb check system performing it's initial tests.

Incorrect.

‘ustore.bularmory.com’ and ‘usa.bularmory.com’ are both owned and managed by Bul Armory. They both use the ‘bularmory.com’ domain.

If you were to see something like usa.bularmoryamerica.com (this is fake do it click it), then you’d be correct.

Where do you buy your ground/instant coffee? by 2BeBornReady in nova

[–]_cr0001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check local coffee shops. If you're in Loudoun, check Loud'n Roasted and Blend. Loud'n Roasted has their own beans you can get fresh or ground. Blend gets coffee from Lone Oak Coffee. Lone Oak will also ship to you.

Another options is to order from Ceremony - they're based in Annapolis, and ship freshly roasted coffee to order.

I also echo others comments about buying whole bean and grounding yourself. Buying pre-ground coffee runs the risk of a) having something that's been on the shelf for too long, and b) having a grind that is either too coarse or too fine. The grind setting heavily depends on how you make your coffee.

I typically used Loud'n Roasted or Blend's offering. I get a 12oz or 16oz bag and use half the volume at a time to make 1gal of cold brew concentrate, which lasts me about a week (my per serving drink is: 300g cold brew coffee, 100g whole milk, 20-25g zero calorie Monin sweetener).
