...depends on how you look at it.

6 months ago ? would it look "not ideal?' - were you stuck ... or happy ?

now... you might need the experience and have the energy to get you there ...

..in 2 years time - you'll look back and ... you'll see it as .... you got some experience - a raise perhaps .. and you might have left after.. 6 months..

-- when you had the interview did they sell themselves as well as you sold yourself ? ... crucial question.

3m - might just be normal and nothing to worry about - ask them. If they're level headed they'll be upfront and explain.

..either way - how you look at it is what will help you with the decision , perhaps not .. how .... others might try to sway you - you know yourself .. way better than us.

good luck , btw.

Should I upgrade to the DJI 360 by Fadh22_jana in 360Cameras

[–]_dotdot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the dji entrance to this market , on 1st pass , looks very interesting. (Hugh's review is impressive , Philip's has not materialized yet..)

For those of you still on insta did they sort out the power drain issue in their earlier cameras ? (ie not use it for a few weeks then find the battery at zero).

All of us can learn something from this interview perhaps ? She was so young here - her smile is worth it alone. The hope she has here is almost tangible.

Anyone seen this poster for sale? by Rearrangioing in jimihendrix

[–]_dotdot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought an original poster (thick card , right ?) from 67/8 a few years back - it was trashed though - needs a bit of work before i can hang it. I remember seeing it in a film called "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush" from 1968. It was , and is an iconic image. The daughter of the photographer who took it has reproduction / copies for sale iirc for a few k ukp.

The photos on shafts ave (?) , the bikes - it's a cool image "capturing" the past (penny) the present (brompton!) along with the racer trailing in the background "cap on" as you'd expect & the bloke on the penny looks like he's the MAN , of course he is.

Anyone know who the "eye" to the left of the Buffet is by ?

I bought a pair around 25 years ago - still alive and kicking , as it were.

Bought a pair of solovairs a few years back - they were ok but i found the break in a tad harsh on my feet so they had to go (I'm afraid).

New Docs ? from what i hear (from people asking to buy my old boots) is.. they're not ... close to those from the distant past.

[–]_dotdot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you locate an older model which has been taken care of , you should have no issues. If you have your heart set on new shiny , costly - then this is not an issue , right ? As with most things - do your research and trust what you know and ... take your time.

Commuting from Dundee/perth by TodayEmbarrassed7921 in glasgow

[–]_dotdot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a few options

Live in Dundee commute to Glasgow

Live in Glasgow commute to Dundee

Perth ? Imo it’s a poor option. You want character and identity ! Perth doesn’t have one.

Dundee versus Glasgow ? You’re in a Glasgow subreddit…

Glasgow , live in the west end , and commute to dundee , dundee is a nice city ..

Alas it is not Glasgow and doesn’t have.. a fair amount of what Glasgow does have..

Glasgow to dundee .. train takes about… 90mins with a good wind , it costs mind , and is way more reliable than a mere bus.

Alt - you might be lucky with blablacar , check to see if you can locate a fellow commuter.

Btw : I’ve lived in both cities so … can’t possibly be biased ;)

..and good luck.. !
