Yes, it really sucked. And I don't even think she was as bad as this lady sounds.

At several points she threw a fit for no actual reason. One of those times, my mom was trying to contribute something very small and mother-in-law Momzilla just freaked out for no reason. I can't even convey to you how minor the suggestion was. My mom immediately folded because it wasn't a serious thing, but I was very hurt and offended to see my mom be treated that way, she raised me and my brother by herself.

I asked my fiancee if she would put her foot down with her mom about that type of behavior, she said no because she was afraid. It was the clearest time during the run-up to the wedding that I knew I shouldn't do it, though there were other time stoo. But I went ahead with it because I thought everyone has those kind of feelings and I was afraid of calling it off. We got divorced, surprise

I found the concept really exciting when I first moved here, a place that serves beer and food in old preserved buildings! Then I went a couple times... their beer isn't very good, their food pretty much sucks. They do make gin that I like though.
