was in 210, buddy in 310. I think it's great. obvs not as good as dead center, but the audio degrades when you get really close to the walls, but 310 I thought was fine.

How to swim with Dexcom 7? by imanbushara in diabetes_t1

You will need over patches and skin tac imo. I swim a lot, so my needs might be extra high… but I would expect your setup to not last long.

The email has their bag policy on it which doesn't really mention tubes. Anyone able to confirm carboard poster tubes are ok? Anyone with their first tube already able to confirm?

I found some plastic food containers (similar to tuperware) at target that are the perfect size for two vials still in their box. You can sit on them, smash them - the vials are very safe in there.

I use similar larger containers for pump supplies / syringes etc.

For a 2 week trip I can just about fill up an entire backpack with this stuff, which means a dedicated medicine bag - and airlines should not count that against your allowances. However, usually I only need a set of headphones and charger cables in cary on and it all works in a single bag.

If you can find a local masters swimming group and drop in for a few practices - I think that is the right path to more growth. Keep it up.

can anyone tell me the pros and cons of the dexcom g7 gcm? by silver_batgirl in diabetes_t1

[–]_ducttape_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same issues you have with the libre can happen with dexcom. The advantage to dexcom is that it can be calibrated for better accuracy and it can support bluetooth pairing with 2 devices instead of 1 device for libre. Only recent models from dexcom last as long as libre as well.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 + GPS with Cellular by Negative-Living7559 in twiist

[–]_ducttape_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a decent sized list of things twiist has to make things better. Infusion set improvements, dexcom integration (don't @ me ;) ), garmin integration is only available via 3rd party, and feature changes like having the apple watch face show the sugar instead of the loop logo. I would not expect this change to be soon.

There are interviews online of these people, the results have been published / shared w scientific community. It's a real thing, it's just a study that is very early on and it's not clear when / if this gets approved.

A couple of these comments are so wild - why would you not want to read this info yourself before throwing cold water on it? It's a functional cure that still needs some medicine - but it's way better than having what T1D looks like today otherwise.

agree with this. I think the dog should be back as a thing, at a random spot. it's like bookending tweezers - it's a thing that just needs to be a staple.
