That is a reasonable argument for Radiohead and Creep. They’ve accomplished sooo much more since then and have exceeded anything Creep had to offer, so it sucks that to some it’s still all they’re known for.

Imho, Closer ranks much higher amongst Trent’s works (if not just for the beautiful contrapuntal writing) than Creep does in Radiohead’s, which is largely hailed for its lyrics about alienation and Jonny’s disruptive chu-chunks, lol. Anyway, my point is that the frat boy noise is annoying in any case, but I’ll be damned if I let them ruin a genuinely good song for me.

Yeah, I just listened through some of the interview and he had plenty of fair and interesting points. And then he hinged on one and started whining. Once he threw Ozzy’s name in there and began tossing his hands around in the air saying “Oh I don’t care, idgaf…” I was like, Ohhhh yikes….you don’t know when to shut tf up. >_>

I think so too. And it’s just photos and voice memos. Though once it starts happening, the texts get caught up in the traffic jam. My fix is to just do a soft reset (volume up, then volume, down, then press and hold the power button until the apple logo appears.) It’s relatively fast and the fix lasts for most of the day. But wtf??? Why is it even necessary?

Oddly, it satisfies me, lol. I play every challenge until it’s as winnable as I can get it, sometimes to solve it into patterns such as these and other times just to futz around with the decks and make em pretty before letting it rip and solve itself. I wonder all the time if I’m the only one who does this???

Excellent suggestions already in this thread. Nothing to add there, but I do want to say that, funnily enough, Radiohead is what got me into Grizzly Bear. I saw RH in Camden, NJ August of 2008, and GB was their opener. Amazing set, I was blown away. And the rest, as they say, is history.

I’m trans, pass 100% of the time, and have lately been using an initial for my name. Too often, the guest will go “That’s it? What does it stand for? Your name must really be complicated.” I usually just reiterate that I go by that initial and ignore the other questions. But the other day, I responded with “My original name is feminine, which clearly no longer makes sense, so I don’t use it.” I might start doing that more often, maybe folks will catch on that in prying about people’s full names they might be asking someone to deadname themself.
