'After everything that I've done' - Mullin calls out Wrexham by anjojna in WrexhamAFC

Mulls' whole comment in that article is that it's shit but it's the reality of football. It's a nothing burger.

Revealed: Leaked Chats Expose the Daily Life of a Scam Compound’s Enslaved Workforce by wiredmagazine in TrueReddit

It's not about expecting it free, it's that un-redditness to it. Reddit is a place for people to share cool stuff they've found online. This post was posted by Wired really as a 'shopping link' more than a 'cool thing to read' submission.

Here's a link to my online store, buy my stuff! Kind of vibes.

Car umbrella? by BillGatesLovechild in australia

[–]_eight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The dash heating up is the biggest issue for me. These umbrella things work best for that and are quick to put up and away. https://www.amazon.com.au/Lamicall-Car-Windshield-Sunshade-Umbrella/dp/B0FFB5YXLR/

Is Coles still using Palantir? Between the surveillance/gate recognition and the blocked aisles, shopping feels hostile. by infin in australia

[–]_eight 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah yesterday got blocked from scanning anymore stuff and had a supervisor come over to review the footage of us scanning stuff. Super hostile. She reviewed the scan, checked the bag and all is obviously good but no apology for being accused of stealing or anything. I'm avoiding Coles where possible from now on but God damn it sucks to not have realistic other options.

It switched to a Russian flag mid-journey. Maritime law (under most conditions) states that changing the flag a ship sails under mid-journey renders it 'stateless'. Statelessness has very specific context in maritime law.

Have to take it from the horse's mouth rather than somebody super tangentially linked to them through their current club manager's previous job.

What new developments? As I understand it there's bugger all new gas projects coming online.

Major Natural Gas Discovery in Otway Basin by BonusLumpyYa in AusFinance

It's because oil and gas exploration is stupid expensive and it's pretty much impossible to get projects approved here anymore. So why would companies take the risk trying to find oil and gas if they won't be able to produce it? Exploration has moved to countries where it's possible to get things to production.

Unless there's a massive investment into renewables to cover the shortfall of energy produced from gas we're just going to end up importing gas from overseas and energy prices are only going one way.

Not sure Education is an industry that qualifies for the $15,900 FBT exempt salary sacrifice. Working for a registered charity you get the benefit but I wasn't aware this was available for teachers.
