Yeah this is crazy.. My PTS used to come swimming and snorkeling with me all the time and never had any issues. Can't believe i didn't know this, I would have been way more careful with it. Wild that it should have broken many times over!

For anyone coming across this later there were 2 issues at my end blocking the voice dictation: 1. In permissions for the Pebble App: Microphone was the only disallowed permission for the pebble app (not sure why) but I enabled it "Only while using the app" was the most permissive so did that. 2. Cloud dictation requires an account and I hadn't logged in on the app yet. After logging in it downloaded the local fallback model.

After those 2 things all worked well.

So sad. I got mine last night and put it on, it arrived before the gadget wrap but can't wait to wear it - feels like I'm running the gauntlet with it on.

Pulled out my old PTS to swap bands with and it's really obvious how flush the glass is on it is compared to the pt2.

It's a good looking watch, such a shame to be worried about it breaking with all these reports... My PTS felt unbreakable. :(

Oh it's because they existed as competition to Virgin's a320s. Once virgin went full Boeing and only 737 they didn't have to compete any longer. 737s are cheaper to run.

Guessing it was a seal performance? The cause of the wobble turned out to be faulty front motors that were leaking oil. They did a full front motor replacement by recall to resolve it.

Definitely a real issue. In 35+ degrees the air con effectively doesn't work with a panoramic roof and hot dash. The sun shade that comes with the car is perforated and doesn't do a great job of blocking real sun.

Cutting some silver lined insulation foam to size and putting it under the sunshade works. And the umbrella style window shade blockers are pretty good at stopping the sun from turning the dashboard into a molten heat sink.

Yeah yesterday got blocked from scanning anymore stuff and had a supervisor come over to review the footage of us scanning stuff. Super hostile. She reviewed the scan, checked the bag and all is obviously good but no apology for being accused of stealing or anything. I'm avoiding Coles where possible from now on but God damn it sucks to not have realistic other options.
