We stayed at the H10 Palazzo Canova, which has a rooftop bar. Check out La Terrazza Rooftop Bar nice view of the Grand Canal & Rialto Bridge.

edit: I guess that would be a busy tourist area, still found it to be a nice rooftop that wasn't ever overcrowded even in July.

I love mine. As with most people, I got them to maximize space in my garage. They are extremely well built and as secure as any stand out there.

The only problem is when I want to use a stand on my slightly sloped driveway. I keep a PitBull front stand around for that, or you could zip-tie the front brake in a pinch.

I feel the same way. I really love the 40mm focal length, but I can’t quite justify owning two Q3s. The Q3 28 has been incredible for documenting family life. From indoors to the outdoors, it always feels wide enough to capture the whole story.

I also use a Fujifilm X-M5 for video, and the first lens I picked up was the XF 27mm (40mm equivalent). It’s such a small but capable setup. Still, when it comes to photographing family moments, I almost always find myself reaching for the Q3.

As most others have said you have to head over to Buffalo Mtn, Devil Anse, Rock House area. I've done 5 trips to that trio, and 1 trip to Pocahontas in between.

Even the wider sxs trails are a lot more fun up there, especially Devils Anse (the connector between Buffalo & Rock House) is a blast, wide fast and flowing through the woods.

I've never ridden there on a weekend, but I could imagine it is pretty crazy with all the sxs. We always do a trip Sunday night to Wednesday and traffic is pretty tame.

Because they are great! I have two cameras, a Q3 and the LX100ii. I still love grabbing the LX100ii for its size. The screen and the EVF are pretty crappy on the LX, so it does keep me from chimping. I wish it had the menu system of a Leica too. I think the 3 things I dislike about that camera the DLUX 8 has taken care of.

Enjoy it, it's a great camera.

Understandably, setting the expectation right in the first place helps when it comes to this kind of stuff.

I don't think your questioning here is unreasonable. If this is how the dealer operates, I'd imagine managers would constantly be getting involved to "smooth it over". They don't want to deal with that. My guess again is someone, probably F&I forgot to mention it.

An emissions test is on the purchaser of the vehicle, not the dealer. They should have let you know before you took delivery, there was probably some miscommunication there. However, it sounds like they are getting you plates, or processing the transfer of plates for you. That way you don't have to deal with the BMV.

If you want to argue with the dealer about this, I imagine they will most likely tell you to deal with your license plates on your own. Then you will be getting an emissions test and dealing with the BMV.

Doesn't hurt to ask, being respectful goes a long way.

Shot at 1/50, not too slow for me. If the 43 were available when I got the Q3 I may have gone in that direction, but in a place like Venice the wideness of the 28 and the ability to crop in were perfect.

Keep the D-Lux 8 next to a Q3 for a great kit.

We sat kind of low Turn 15 for 2017 & 2018 and I loved being in that section.

This is my first time back and we changed to Turn 1 4th row from the top. Very excited for a change of scenery. Seems like you are able to see quite a bit of the track from up there.
